Facility Solutions For Covid-19 Cleaning and Disinfecting
As we continue to fight the Coronavirus, Touchstone HSR is now Accredited Infection Prevention Experts in addition to the other services we provide. We use the term Processing because there is a particular protocol we follow to physically remove contaminants from surfaces, before disinfecting those surfaces.
In proper cleaning we find, identify, capture, contain, remove, and dispose of contaminants, thus physical removal of the presence of potentially infectious disease-causing microorganisms on living or non-living objects is accomplished!
How do we know for sure?
We test the surfaces before and after processing with an ATP meter. This is a swabbing process that identifies the amount of Adenosine Triphosphate on a surface. Adenosine Triphosphate is everywhere, it is part of our natural flora. It is also the food on which microorganisms and contaminants love to feed. Even built-up dust in hidden areas is considered a breeding ground for Pathogenic Organisms.
What we can’t see, can kill us!
Imagine if you could see Covid -19! Would we then become more diligent in our efforts to Control and Kill this virus? Would we be more aware of our surroundings and the people we come into contact with? The answer is Yes! This is a safety measure put in place to prevent cross-contamination during the processing of an area and adds extra protection for our crew. Once our processing is complete, we then Disinfect using an Electrostatic Sprayer.
